this is my job, how lucky am i??? life is good on the east coast! we got our first snow (it only lasted an evening, but still) and joseph is all moved in. i have little to complain about and a whole lot to be thankful for!

joe came in a couple of weekends ago, its hard to believe our weekend trips to see other will be over soon. 

teds bulletin…best food ever. maybe because we were starving or maybe its because they were playing charlie browns the great pumpkin or maybe its because its really darn good food either way joe and i soooo approve of this place!

for the past two years i have missed my papaws birthday. i do not like this. i miss him so much and just wanted tumblr to know how much. papaw, i miss you. i can’t wait to see you thanksgiving. i miss your sassy comments at lunch. your hugs. and your constant gum offer. you are seriously awesome.

10 things.

things that have changed since moving here. 

1. i can tolerate pizza

2. i watch arrested development 

3. i spell words that children shouldn’t hear, like n-a-p or c-h-o-c-o-l-a-t-e

4. i sleep in everyday. (not a fan of this one, i loved being a morning person)

5. i blog. not a blog to keep my family & friends up to date, a legit blog. check it out here

6. meat doesn’t freak me out so much, like combined meat or even beef…its warming up to me 

7. im cooking (granted it was only two meals and one meal was complete flop, but still) 

8. i am 10,000 times more creative, its hard not be living in the rushings home. 

9. i HATE HATE HATE candyland (worse game ever) 

10. i really miss the people in longview. the good, the bad and the ugly. 

i hope all is well in the view, i miss&love yall. 

Last weekend, my beloved mother came in to visit. the same weekend coincidently my cousin, josh and his “ladyfriend” planned a weekend trip to dc. We had a mini family reunion at Pizzeria Paradiso. I am no fan of pizza and maybe it was the company but i thought this restaurant was perfection! Family, Food, Hot Chocolate and Freezing weather. what more could this girl ask for?
